Flashwave created excitement in it’s rookie year by taking 2nd place in the World in Factory 1 Offshore racing at the APBA/UIM Championships held in Key West Florida. Flashwave took 2nd place in the Pacific Offshore 2001 racing series. It’s sponsor CALDIET.COM/ Hollywood 48-Hour Diet was ecstatic with the first year results. 2002 is looking even better. Currently the national points leader, the Flashwave team is cris-crossing the country running both the Pro Series races and west coast divisional races.
Jim Scherrer's career started with Eastman Kodak. After 15 years, Jim ventured out as an entrepreneur, starting three successful corporations including Aspen Fulfillment Services, Inc, a contract shipper for the direct marketing industry. He also started Aspen Products, Inc., an electronic retailer and broker in the Natural Health Products industry and Flashwave Motorsports, Inc. Racing has always been in Jim's blood. As a teen , Jim was an accomplished champion swimmer competing in the Japan. He has raced go-karts and now boats. When ask how he got started in Offshore racing, he says "it just got too dangerous on the Parker strip" Jim holds a BS degree in Photo Science and Professional Photography. When he is not working or racing, Jim spends time with his wife Becky and daughter Krystal.
Craig Bradshaw
The "need for speed" best summarizes Craig's early start with his racing
career. It seems only natural that growing up near the Pacific Ocean and
weekends spent along the Colorado River, Craig would focus his attention on
high speed water sports. Boat racing predominated in the mid 80's and
progressed to waterski racing by 1990. With speeds in excess of 100
MPH, Craig captured three 2nd place and two 3rd place national titles in
ski racing while competing on the Nation's Circuit from 1990 through 1997.
He continues to compete in open ocean races for fun and excitement; however,
this has opened up to a whole new arena for Craig, OFFSHORE POWER BOAT RACING. Having completed his third full season, Craig has earned (3) High
PointsChampionship titles on the West Coast and a 2ND place National title in 2000.
In all, Craig has had top three finishes in over 80% of the races run.
